Title Technical Support Representative

Our customer is an International Distributor of electronics located in the West Island. With an extensive range of highly featured innovative products, that are made to the highest quality of international standards and represent great value for businesses of any size, large or small.

They are currently recruiting for a Technical Support Representative. The successful candidate will maintain strong TCS customer relations by effectively resolving end-user request concerning hardware related issues for faxes, MFC’s, and typewriters, which includes set up and troubleshooting.

- Respond to end user call and e-mail requests according to the call center guidelines
- Troubleshoot Fax, MFC, and typewriter calls and/or e-mails on the following topics:
- Hardware programming and set up
- Diagnose hardware related issues
- Conduct proper inquiries in order to accurately asses the customer issues
- Determine the best solution based on the customer issue on a first call basis
- Ensure proper and timely recording of calls in CRM
- Acquire personal knowledge of equipment and software by attending trainings, consulting documentation, discussion with colleagues
- Responsible for ensuring all calls and e-mails are resolved prior to closing

- 1 year call center experience in customer service and 6 month experience in a technical field
- Achieved Level 1 standards
- Adept in MS Office 2000+, particularly in Word, Excel, Outlook
- Solid oral and written skills in both French and English
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Highly service driven and customer oriented and a strong sense of accountability and a desire to further improve ones knowledge base
- Available to work evenings and weekends

Must be open to rotating on shifts
Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm
Varies: Earliest (8am - 4:30pm) Latest (11am - 8pm)
Sat & Sun 9-5
