||The Contracts Specialist will work as the technical resource for the Purchasing & Contracts Team and will be accountable to handle and coach others in tenders, bids, evaluations, awards, negotiations, and contract creation. Key stakeholders are the Supply Chain Management Team, Operations, Capital Projects, Generation and 3rd party clients/customers.
||Act as a technical expert and resource to ensure consistency in the application of contract laws and corporate policies. Accountable for building high-level collaborative relationships with clients, customers and suppliers. Create and maintain contracts to comply with current contract laws and corporate policies. Create tenders to current tendering law and changing trends. Contract administration Research and development for new contract opportunities and trends. Responsible for identifying vendor key performance indicators and documenting, maintaining and filing vendor evaluations (pre & post award.) Coach others and act as a technical expert in the field of tenders, contracts and paralegal issues. Manage and maintain high level internal and external relationships. Be able to apply contracts to all aspects of the business in various departments

Knowledge and Experience Requirements Contract and Contract Law courses with 8-10 years direct related experience. Grade 12 Diploma plus post secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of the Strategic Supply Chain Management (SSCMLP) or CPP Designation (name may change) through PMAC or work experience equivalent. Valid Class 5 driver’s license. Proficient with computer systems and related programs including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook. Proficient in SAP MM Module.
