Position Title Golf - Food Service Crew Staff
Employee Group Casual
Summary of Duties Under the supervision of the Food Service Supervisor provide exceptional front line service to the guests of the golf course. Prep, cook and serve approved menu items. Operate and maintain the kitchen in a clean and safe manner.
Work Performed
  1. Responsible for balancing of daily revenue/cash receipts.
  2. Daily preparation of all food required for Club House and Beverage Cart.
  3. May be required to operate a barbeque.
  4. Ensure food is presented in an efficient/timely and attractive manner.
  5. Responsible for proper storage and rotation of stock.
  6. Responsible for notifying supervisor when supplies are depleting.
  7. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of tables, service area, garbage receptacles, and restocking of condiment supplies.
  8. Responsible for ensuring sanitization of kitchen and wares properly.
  9. Maintain accurate records on food spoilage.
  10. Respond to customer service inquiries.
  11. Ensure all City of London policies and practices are adhered to - WHIMIS, Health & Safety, Emergency Evacuation, Anti-Harassment/Diversity, and Cash Handling.
  12. Comply with all Board of Health and Liquor License regulations.
  13. Heavy lifting may be required.
  14. May be required to assist in other areas of the operation as required.
  15. Providing table service.
Qualifications
  1. Two years experience in the food service.
  2. Able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  3. Smart Serve Certificate required.
  4. Food Handler's Certificate required.
  5. Able to work weekends, evenings and alone.
  6. Completion of 100% staff training is a condition of employment.
  7. Standard First Aid/CPR.
  8. Valid Drivers’ license.
Compensation Range $10.25 per hour

NEW STAFF:  Will be required to submit a PVSC that has been conducted in the past twelve (12) months.

RETURNING Staff:
a) If a new PVSC was submitted for 2012 employment, applicants may sign an Offence Self Declaration Form stating that their status has not changed since their last PVSC submission.

b) If a PVSC was not submitted for 2012 employment, applicants must submit a new one that has been conducted in the past twelve (12) months.  In order for your application to be considered complete, please mail or deliver your ORIGINAL PVSC to City of London, Thames Valley Golf Course, 850 Sunninghill Avenue, London, Ontario, N6H 3L9.

NEW Staff:  Must submit two (2) letters of reference with application. Letters cannot be from family members.

RETURNING Staff:  Do not need to submit a letter of reference.
