inVentiv Health is currently recruiting for a talented and innovative Hospital Specialty Representative. This is a direct position with one of our clients and no contract is involved. As an Hospital Specialty Representative, you will be responsible for achieving or exceeding the established sales goals, quotas and metrics of the assigned territory. You must also take ownership and lead responsibility for academic medical centers, hospitals and affiliated clinics within the assigned geography.
The Hospital Specialty Representative needs to possess a customer-centric mindset with exceptional knowledge of the customer, related markets and disease states, reimbursement and DRG payments, the products and the competitive products, the broader healthcare market place and emerging trends. The individual is to build strong, lasting relationships with a broad and diverse group of customers and departments, at all levels within each hospital or system, resulting in establishing an exceptionally positive image of the company. The Hospital Specialty Representative needs to possess exceptional account management skills, selling skills and the overall communications skills to effectively understand the needs of the customer and to clearly and effectively communicate the value proposition for each product using approved promotional materials.
