Responsibilities

 

       The radiotherapy specialist works directly with key customers to help secure appropriate radiopharmaceutical licensing

       The radiotherapy specialist provides technical in-services and training and supports licensing logistics

       Mentors and supports field force in growing our licensing knowledge and comfort level with our key customers

       The radiotherapy specialist enhances clinical relationships with key oncology customers.

       50 percent overnight travel a month.

Licensing Activities:

       Assist customer sites with state amendment process

       Provide sites with NRC or Agreement state mandated training

       Provide site training on handling, administration and radiation safety

       Conduct Radiopharmacy requested in-services

       Responding to radiation safety committee inquiries

       Working through logistics and ordering of calibration source

       Assist with site dose calibrator calibration (GL)

       Build relationships with and provides training to state regulators and inspectors

       Supports the managed markets organization with presentations to payers

       Collect appropriate documentation for licensing database

                                     Strategic planning including:

       Assist with the development of training and educational Marketing materials

       KOL development for Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Oncology

       Expand Nuclear Medicine/Radiation Oncology Speakers Bureau

       Profile customers and generate business in Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Oncology

Requirements
• Minimum 4 year Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Advanced Degree in Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, Medical \Imaging or Radiochemistry desired.
• Minimum 5 years of industry or clinical experience.
• Experience in oncology, prostate cancer preferred
• State licensing knowledge and expertise required.
• Project management experience.
• Ability to work with teams.
• Strong clinical expertise in Oncology.
• Must be able to handle extensive travel requirements
• Strong business acumen and problem solving skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Advanced ability to think strategically
• Collaborative leadership skills
