Vue d ensemble du poste DESCRIPTION

Role

As a member of the engineering team, you will perform within an established schedule the detailed design and optimization of various parts that comprise business aircraft interiors. You will also have to interface with stakeholders and departments as well as provide technical support to production.

Duties

Detailed design of various components of business aircraft cabinets ranging from wiring diagrams, harness drawings, electrical installations, qualification reports and test procedures.
Schedule adherence that involves complex detail design and strict aerospace regulations.
Production and installation support for business jet interiors.
Requirements and Criteria

Required: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
Good communication skills that include spoken and written English, functional spoken and written French.
Fast learner, aptitude for electrical design, and good technical background.
Thoroughness, attention to details, highly organized.
Knowledge of AutoCad or Catia (V5) is a major asset.
Motivated, able to maintain good interpersonal relations and work well in a team environment.
Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with minimum supervision.
Must have the ability to recognize assembly issues and suggest cost effective solutions.
Enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and highly innovative, can-do attitude, resourceful problem solver, comfortable in a fast-moving and highly dynamic environment.
Complete multiple tasks effectively, including work prioritization and incorporating the demands of program management, specifications, schedules and budgets in a results oriented environment.
Knowledge of Excel, Word and other office applications.
Aeronautical background and knowledge of aviation regulations (TC, FAA, JAA) is an asset.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing.
