Responsibilities In this role you will work with the Logistics Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of inventory control and materials planning in our organization.

•Author company’s customs policies and procedures
•Ensure all modes of transportation are optimized for cost and delivery expectations
•Prepare all necessary shipping related documentation with a high degree of accuracy
•Ad Hoc shipment project management
•Prepare and complete forms for International Customs clearance purposes
•Research on regulatory requirements and solutions related to import/export
•Follow up with shipments for delivery to final destinations
•Manage freight invoices and ensure proper coding applied
•Interface with peers, colleagues, customers, supervisors and management on logistics related issues.

Requirements •5 years minimum experience in international logistics/supply chain coordination.
•In-depth knowledge in various modes of transportation (air, ocean, truck, rail, and intermodal)
•Familiarity with International Customs requirements, tariff codes, FDA product codes
•Able to handle high pressure, high volume, time sensitive work flow.
•Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook as well as perfect data entry skills.
•Ability to analyze delivery expenses and develop tools to promote an understanding of the costs and drive cost reduction.
•Inventory Reconciliation experience
•Detail-oriented, able to prioritize and multitask, self-motivated, independent worker committed to getting the job done.
•Impeccable oral and written communication skills and a good level of creativity.
•Strong organizational skills. Strives for accuracy and consistency.
•Flexible to dynamic work schedule demands.
•Desire to learn and "Can Do!" attitude. Must be a team player and a problem solver.
•Understanding of logistics industry and manufacturing environments
