||JITC - Functional Area Analyst
The successful applicant will be working as part of a team for a Task Lead (TL) to support the Joint Interoperability Test Center (JITC) every phase of IOP testing for Ground Based Mid-Course Defense (GMD), it's components and other elements of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), from establishing team processes and procedures to test planning, test execution, analysis, and reporting. In conjunction with the customer and interaction with other contractors, the team will accomplish test execution and/or test observation and data collection within Scrum sprints and during broader functional tests. The team approach centers on DT&E within each BMDS sprint. Continuous Agile T&E combines DT, IA, NR, interoperability, and Level I OT&E T&E. It prepares a system for successful IOP testing and OT&E by testing requirements in advance of OT&E.
To ensure successful determination and characterization of interoperability, the team’s approach hinges on providing a team with the right skill mix and experience. Working as part of the team includes one Principle Functional Area Analyst, with requisite Missile Defense System and interoperability test experience, to act as Task Lead (TL) and SCRUM Master to track productivity. In addition, two Intermediate Functional Area Analysts, one full time and a second at part time to cover surges in operational tempo, such as during distributed ground tests or analysis of large test data sets. All individuals would be located at the JITC at Ft Huachuca, AZ. During test periods, we anticipate the potential for increasing the level of effort to accommodate test execution and post-test activities. Specifically, we will ramp-up the workload of the part-time Intermediate Functional Analyst only as needed, and with customer approval, to assist with on-site data collection, analysis, and test reports. All BMDS deliverables will be vetted through our ISO-compliant Quality Control process prior to delivery to the Customer.
