| Position Overview |
The West Vancouver Memorial Library has immediate openings for casual Building Maintenance Workers. |
| Responsibilities |
Reporting to the Building Services Supervisor, this position will be responsible for semi-skilled manual work in performing maintenance, cleaning, basic repair and limited grounds-keeping duties in a moderately-sized public building. |
| Requirements |
The successful applicant will have a working knowledge of the materials, methods and equipment used in the painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical trades, plus general building maintenance and janitorial work. The candidate will enjoy good health, strength and agility plus above-average manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude. Considerable experience in the building trades and in maintenance is preferred.
The successful candidate is required to supply a criminal record check. |
