| Job Summary |
Under the direction of the Program Coordinator, the Van Drivers will provide door to door transportation rides for clients to attend medical, dental, and therapeutic appointments. |
| Responsibilities |
The Van Drivers are responsible to pick up their driving schedule for the day, complete a safety check of the vehicle, provide door to door transportation services to clients. |
| Qualifications |
• Minimum High School Diploma required • Experience working with seniors and adults with disabilities • Experience with and physically capable of handling vehicle restraints • Ability to work with accessible equipment including wheelchairs, motorized scooters, walkers, mechanical lifts and Q-straint tie down system • Reliable and dependable • Good communication skills • Flexible • Possession of current and valid driver’s permit and an annual clean driver’s abstract |
