Position Title Executive Assistant
Employee Group Regular FT
Job Summary  The executive assistant will provide support to the District Executive Director.
Responsibilities  
Reporting to the District Executive Directors, the Executive Assistant is responsible for;
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, as requested
  • Managing and processing all correspondence
  • Developing presentations and writing briefing notes
  • Scanning environment-data collection-data preparation
  • Coordinating registration, accommodation, transportation for conferences/meetings as directed
  • Manages processes related to accounts payable and receivables
  • Processing Accounts Receivable as directed
  • Scheduling, recording and distributing minutes of meetings as requested
  • Processing confidential material
  • Provide admin support to Community Boards
  • Liaise on behalf of DED with external stakeholders
  • Developing and executing Quality Improvement Plans
  • On boarding new staff members
Qualifications  
  • College degree in Administration, or an equivalent program, or recent relevant work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working in a home and community care environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced work processing skills and functional capabilities using a range of computer software
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and effectively manage stresses of a busy office environment
  • Current criminal background check will be requested
  • Project management experience- demonstration and recent experience
