Position Title Receptionist

Job Summary The Receptionist will create a welcoming front office environment to the VON site by greeting visitors, and providing exemplary customer service to patients, visitors, staff and corporate clients. The receptionist will also be responsible for operating the telephone system, collecting and distributing mail, typing correspondence, photocopying documents, and file management.
Responsibilities
  • Provide information about the Foot Care programme to individuals and take the information for In Home referrals
  • Complete data entries for ROS generation, timesheet confirmation using appropriate technology and software
  • Enter employee time and confirmation into log book
  • Enter monthly staff schedule per clinic/area and maintain record of missed private pay in-home visits
  • Assist in mailing performance appraisal packages, minutes of meetings and other correspondence
  • Order foot care supplies, coordinate delivery, and maintain inventory records
  • Co-ordinate ongoing advertising
  • Supply team leaders with forms needed such as appointment sheets, footcare charts, brochures etc.
  • Provide support for educational sessions e.g. packages for orientation and in-service sessions
  • Maintain data entry of financial checks as required (courier/monies, etc)
  • Other Duties as assigned
  • Qualifications •Post-secondary education in Medical Office Administration or related studies required
    •2-3 year administrative experience in an office environment
    •Proven to be reliable and punctual
    •Exemplary customer service skills
    •Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and organization skills
    •Exceptional computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    •Current criminal background check will be requested
