Position Title Personal Support Worker
Employee Group Occasional PT
Job Summary This position provides community support services including personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, with a focus on respite support to clients in their homes.
Qualifications
  • Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate/Diploma (mandatory)
    Registration with the PSW Registry of Ontario is required
  • Current Standard First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to communicate well both written and verbally
  • Strong assessment skills
  • Ability to take direction and work independently
  • Ability to adjust to working in different social and economic environments
  • Valid drivers licence and access to vehicle is required
  • Ability to work shift work
