Position Description Key Qualifications:  
 
M.S.W.
Membership in OASW and Registration in OCSW & SSW
Minimum three years post graduate experience working with children, and adolescents with psychiatric problems, and their families
Experience working with individuals, families and groups
Experience in providing wide range of treatment services and approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy, family therapy and psycho-educational groups to children, adolescents (and their families) with psychiatric conditions
Thorough knowledge of child and adolescent development, family dynamics and systems
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills combined with the ability to work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team
 
Position Summary:
 
Provides clinical assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and their families Functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team providing an emphasis on family systems. Participates in program planning. Provides consultation and education for other professionals and the community
