Position Description    
Key Qualifications:      
  • Demonstrated Clinical competence in Nursing Practice
  • Patient Physical Assessment Skills required
  • Minimum of 1 year acute in-patient Medical/Surgical experience
  • Previous Oncology/Respiratory courses and/or experience a definite asset
  • Ability and willingness to rotate to all patient care floors including Medical, Surgical, Neurosciences and Mental Health
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with effective organizational skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Position Summary:
  • Responsible and accountable for decisions and actions in the provision and management of nursing care for all patients
  • Practitioner, consultant and educator for appropriate patient groups and health team members
  • As a member of the Staffing Office Team you will be scheduled to work in a variety of units
  • This position reports to Manager, Access and Flow
