Key Qualifications: Minimum 3 years current emergency/critical care experience Previous Med/Surgical experience with patient assessment course an asset Cardiology, Critical Care and/or Emergency courses a definite asset Emergency Certificate preferred ACLS and PALS required (or in progress) Cardiac monitoring skills required Sound patient care nursing skills combined with effective interpersonal and organizational skills Reliable and flexible individual to work as part of a diverse work team Must have effective interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem solving skills Positive attendance and work record essential Position Summary: Responsible and accountable for decisions and actions in the provision and management of nursing care for patients Practitioner, consultant and educator for appropriate patient groups and health care team members |
