| Position Summary: Provide clinical assessment and evidence based treatment for adults experiencing psychiatric conditions, mental health disorders or psychosocial issues In partnership with clients and families/significant others and treatment team, develop, implement and evaluate overall treatment goals Educate and support families/significant others Consult with community agencies and families to maintain coordination in the client’s treatment process Key Qualifications: Master of Social Work Degree required Membership in OASW and registration in OCSWSSW Minimum five years current Mental Health experience, primarily with adults ( from 18 years of age) experiencing psychosocial issues, psychiatric conditions or mental health disorders Knowledge or experience related to concurrent disorders preferred Experience with case co-ordination, counselling and group facilitation Expertise in evidence based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or Dialectic Behavioural Therapy. Effective interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team Positive work and attendance record |
