Title 3PL Sales Professional GTA, ON 6046
Overview The 3PL Sales Professional is required to grow existing accounts and develop new business opportunities. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years 3PL industry experience, 2 of which will have been in a sales role. A strong sales ability and superior negotiation and closing skills are required.



Responsibilities Maximize and manage the volume, revenue and margin of territory to achieve sales objectives
Identify new business opportunities that exist within the customer/territory base
Promote other services wherever possible
Communicate with existing customers in person, over the phone or by email to discuss opportunities, concerns, etc.
Provide customer service that exceeds the customer’s expectations; respond to service issues immediately
Update CRM as needed
Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to meet customer needs
Develop, implement and deliver on the pre-determined sales plan
Provide management with appropriate forecast of results and opportunities
Determine, evaluate and report special trends in the customer/territory base
Represent organization to the industry at trade shows and industry events
Provide input to the annual budget
Other duties and assignments as required

Requirements High school diploma is required; post-secondary education is preferred
CITT and P. Log or the completion of professional sales courses or certificates are considered assets
Minimum 5 years experience in 3PL of which 2 years in a sales role
Complete understanding of the North American Transportation industry including Highway (domestic and cross border), Intermodal and Logistics
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and CRM applications
Customer service-oriented; able to identify and present solutions that meet customer needs
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; highly organized with the ability to multi-task
Team cooperation and respect is required.
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Work well under pressure in a time sensitive environment
Forward thinker, creative, innovative and entrepreneurial
Ability to travel as required; must have a valid class G driver’s license in good standing

Compensation Package $45-75K (Based on Experience) + Commission + Benefits
