Position Junior Sales Representative

Reporting To Sales Manager
Key Accountabilities
  • Represent Toromont ‘s Ag Division and their product line
  • Participate in, and be aware of the Ag Division’s yearly territory plan and marketing strategies for new business opportunities prospecting in an Agricultural territory
  • Support Toromont’s Ag customers with the sales process re: equipment applications/attachments to meet their needs
  • Support the expansion of market opportunities to meet the Division’s Sales Targets
  • Prepare and conduct presentations and events to promote products and features as needed
  • Support and/or participate with quotes, used products, current offerings and purchasing options
  • Update customer profiles for effective territory management including post sale follow-up
  • Remain current on competitive advertising to ensure our customers receive the fairest price possible
  • Participate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviours and objectives at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy/Programs and best practices
Key Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education and 2+ years experience in sales and marketing preferred
  • Experience with Ag equipment systems
  • Strong communication, analytical, planning and organizational skills
  • Proactive, customer-focused and effective team player with proven relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated sense of  business knowledge
  • Self-motivated, results driven, and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing and able to travel as required and possess a valid driver’s licence and clean driver's abstract
  • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
