Position Customer Support Supervisor

Reporting To Project Manager
Key Accountabilities
  • Schedule Service workload to maximize productivity
  • Prepare quotes, orders and invoices for internal and external customers
  • Administer warranty decisions and subsequent claims
  • Promote customer satisfaction and follow up repairs and collaborate with other departments to deliver high level service
  • Manage assets and employees at remote locations
  • Improve customer and employee satisfaction by initiating corrective procedures relating to the remote site operations
  • Train and coach team members, administer performance evaluations and ensure all employees comply with established company and customer safety rules
  • Promote and participate in safe work and environmentally sound behaviours and training at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy/Program(s) and best practices
Key Qualifications
  • Post Secondary Education with a technical focus and experience in a supervisory role
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in the heavy equipment industry and strong technical aptitude with CAT Products
  • Exceptional communication, relationship development and interpersonal skills to effectively interact across all levels of the organization
  • General understanding of facility and operational management as well as labour relations
  • Proven business and financial acumen
  • Customer centric with strong leadership, coaching and team building skills
  • Excellent negotiating, analytical and organizational, problem solving skills with a high sense of urgency
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to changing and multiple priorities to meet aggressive deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Applications, DBS, SIS or experience with Toromont CAT operations
  • Willing and able to travel and work flexible hours in support of the needs of the business
  • Must possess valid passport and a valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
