Title Human Resources Coordinator (Corporate) - (Lynn Thomas)
Responsibilities
  • administer pension and benefit program and provide related employee training
  • administer salaried compensation plan, pay equity plan and employment equity; assist in related training
  • manage HRIS system
  • coordinate and conduct orientation program for corporate employees
  • screen applicants, conduct interviews, complete reference checks and make hiring recommendations to HR Director
  • coordinate the employee opinion survey for all locations
  • ensure annual performance reviews are conducted upon consultation with HR Director
  • maintain accurate personnel records
  • maintain Human Resources Policy Manual

 

Requirements
  • knowledge of all relevant legislation and labour laws
  • knowledge of Pension Act, Pay Equity Act and Employment Equity Act
  • experience with Collective Agreements
  • payroll experience (ADP)
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • computer literate
  • strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
  • abillity to travel to various locations
