Title RCMP Training Program Administrator
Job Status Part Time Regular
The Surrey RCMP Detachment has opportunities for a RCMP Training Program Administrator. You will be responsible for monitoring progress, performance and compliance of new members enrolled in RCMP training programs. The incumbent also provides information, guidance and feedback to staff and liaises with the Pacific Region Training Center in relation to the work.
Scope Typical duties include facilitating and coordinating orientations, panel meetings and training sessions. You would review and ensure assessments, related documentation and activities are completed and submitted per program requirements. You will also provide input on the selection of coaches for training programs and ensure new members meet and successfully complete training program requirements. You will be up to date on current laws and legislation, related policies, procedures and operations applicable to the work, act as a resource person to staff and management, and attend, represent and participate in meetings and committees. In addition, you will be preparing and maintaining reports, documentation and files related to this position.
Qualified applicants will have completed a related post-secondary program. A minimum of 5 years experience in a policing environment including supervisory experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. This position requires completion of the relevant level of RCMP Security Clearance
