Title Service Desk Manager
Job Status Full Time Regular
Overview Reporting to the Client Services Manager, we are looking for a candidate to fill the position of Service Desk Manager to complement our IT Management team. The Service Desk Manager is responsible for leading and implementing support for all applications and products supported by the Information Technology department. 
Scope The Service Desk Manager will utilize best practices and a catalogue of services for timely and efficient service to clients within the city.  This position will be responsible for providing guidance to all levels of IT on the set up and use of the Service Desk systems and providing troubleshooting techniques when issues arise. Your understanding of organizational business systems, industry requirements and technology will ensure that you keep Surrey at the forefront of emerging trends and help achieve the business values and objectives.
Requirements
 The successful candidate will have a university degree or diploma with 6-10 years of directly related experience. Experience in managing a service desk operation is required.

Note Effective fall 2013, City Hall will be moving to a new state-of-the-art facility located in North Surrey (King George and 104th area). NCH will act as a catalyst to stimulate job creation in the city and will be easily accessible to residents and businesses.
