Job Description  
Role
 
The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative assistance to the Human Resources team. His or her role mainly consists in assisting recruiters, advisors and trainers.
 
Tasks
 
HR
  • In charge of opening, filing, updating and closing employees’ files
  • Participate in certain steps of the recruitment process of freelancers (contract, welcoming, follow-up, departure) 
  • Coordinate employees’ vacations
  • Coordinate employees’ evaluations
  • Collaborate with the payroll services to ensure the follow-up of employees’ files
  • Update the intranet/QuickLee on the HR/training topics
  • Collaborate the recruitment team and the immigration to ensure that the foreign applicants’ arrival/departure is well monitored 
Training
 
  • Coordinate external training (billing, travels, ticket purchase, etc.)
  • Assist the follow-up of the training budget
  • Coordinate internal training (room booking, bistro request, participant follow-up)
  • Coordinate the welcoming of new employees (schedule, room, follow-up with newbies and trainers)
  • Assist the advisors in their research

REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or any related field 
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in Human Resources
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Interest in recruitment
  • Experience with an HR management system an asset
