About the Role
The Intermediate Graphic Designer is responsible for delivering against a wide range of mandates for one of our top tier retail clients. Working under the guidance of the Creative Director and with support of the Senior Designer, he or she must demonstrate excellent attention to detail in design and craft, while helping junior designers reach their fullest potential. Typical projects will include in-store event signage, point-of-sale, print, out of home and digital. The Intermediate Designer will lead the day-to-day development of design projects, provide art direction at photo shoots, and present creative to internal teams and clients.
You have education in a related field and between 3 – 5 years of experience in an ad agency, design firm or in-house for a retail client. You have strong conceptual thinking, a good understanding of typography and design, and experience art directing photo shoots. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are comfortable leading the day-to-day requirements on multiple projects concurrently. Because of your previous experience in design or advertising, you’re able to prioritize your projects, stay on top of a high volume of work, and delegate to your supporting teammates. You have an interest in women’s fashion and/or home decorating, and keep up on the trends in all areas of design.
