Titre/Title CONTRÔLEUR ADJOINT / ASSISTANT CONTROLLER
Job Description   TASKS

• Responsible for the end-of-month process, including recurring and adjustment entries;
• Reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts;
• Preparation of monthly financial statements for internal purposes;
• Bank and credit card reconciliation;
• Responsible for GST/QST declarations;
• Preparation of the external/governmental audit file and assistance during those verifications;
• Participation in the improvement of the company’s processes.

As part of his/her functions, the Assistant Controller will benefit from the support of an Accounting Technician two days a week.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

Autonomous, resourceful, and able to perform and grow in a fast-moving field;
Sense of professionalism and confidentiality;
Able to work as a team and with diverse stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s in Accounting or experience in a similar position;
Spoken and written bilingualism (French and English);
Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including an advanced knowledge of Excel;
Knowledge of Maconomy an asset.
