Reporting to the Technical Team Lead for the i3-ERP project, the Senior PeopleSoft Security Analyst (SPSA) is responsible for the secured integrity of the Seneca PeopleSoft Campus Solution environment. The SPSA is the key contact regarding security issues related to the PeopleSoft environment (Finance, HR and Campus Solution modules). The PSA coordinates activities with Seneca team members and Deloitte (Integrator) teams. The SPSA continuously evaluates the secured PeopleSoft environment applying security maintenance and proactively applying preventative security measures. Directly supports the Applications Systems and Database Administrators with security related issues. The SPSA is the lead resource responsible for the design and defining environment set up, maintenance and testing of global user security, security profiles, security requirements and specifications, test solutions, and implement the resulting solutions.
• Works directly with the i3 team, ITS, and business process owners to define strong business domain knowledge and understanding business processes in order to assist in the design and develop security requirements. • Assist in ongoing design and construction of processes, reports, scripts and procedures required for security administration of all PeopleSoft modules, queries, reports, workflow and portal access. • Review requests and coordinate user setup and access. Assigns the setup tasks to the intermediate PSA, and validates the results. The process includes building profiles to control user and developer access on all environments. • Monitor security data integrity as it relates to the PeopleSoft applications. • Deploy and administer PeopleSoft Security Tools. • Ensure defined policies and procedures are followed for decommissioning of users, accounts and privileges. • Informs Data Base Administrator or designated project manager of any information that may identify challenges to project schedules, missed project deliverables, incomplete tasks or inaccurate results • May be required to respond to operational status of production computer systems outside of normal working hours, including evening, nights, weekends and holidays • Coordinate the appropriate action to take when a security violation is detected in relation to the PeopleSoft environment. • Evaluates and recommends the appropriate solutions to system logic difficulties. Responds appropriately to escalated support requirements to address application, database and security issues. • Manage and communicate all security issues related to system administration. Collaborates with functional and technical owners on incident management, problem management, escalation management and resource management. • Identify the appropriate problem-solving approach to issues, evaluate options and best practices recommendations. • Ensure that formal testing of changes to roles and system are defined and reviewed prior to execution and validated when complete. • Ensure that security related project deliverables adhere to established policies, standards / procedures, and that these deliverables meet internal and external audit requirements and are in line with project timelines and requirements. • Other duties as assigned.
• Minimum 3 year post-secondary degree/diploma in a Computer related field. • 8 years of advanced knowledge of System Security and Security related areas • Minimum 3 years of experience in configuring and maintaining Security in PeopleSoft Finance, HR and Campus Solution modules. • Working experience in configuring and maintaining Security on Oracle Middleware Fusion Technology will be an asset • Working experience in configuring Security on PeopleSoft Interaction Hub will be an asset. • Security certifications in good standing • Experience with LDAP and single sign-on(SSO) technologies for enterprise authentication and authorization • A high degree of understanding of Oracle databases and related tools and utilities • Strong understanding of the risks inherent to security management within PeopleSoft • Understanding of segregation of duty concerns as it relates to business processes and also security controls within a technology setting • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsets. • Demonstrated interpersonal, listening and business relationship skills. • Ability to manage multiple demands, competing priorities, and meeting deadlines.

Hourly Wage Rate
Payband K: Start rate $36.97, Maximum rate $42.86
Weekly Hours of Work
40 hours per week (overtime as required).
