Based in the Brampton location this sales role will focus on the utilities market. Positioning product solutions and technical expertise to utilities companies as well as the businesses that support the utilities industry. The role will also engage with the engineering community as well as large project management firms that have a stake in the utilities market segment. This sales role has a larger deal size focus which means bigger commissions/profit sharing opportunity. Not your typical sales role!
•Grow business with existing customers while also developing new opportunities within the utilities market segment
•Meet and exceed assigned organizational revenue and profit targets
•Work effectively with suppliers, vendors, purchasing and the distribution team to effectively meet client expectations
•Provide technical expertise and leading edge customer support to sustain long term mutually beneficial client relations
•Consultative sales approach and strong discovery skill set to determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
•Accurately process customer transactions including quotations, orders and returns while providing accurate information regarding product availability
•Provide pre and post sale follow to ensure complete client satisfaction
•Provide market intelligence and competitive program details to direct manager and team members
•Represent the organization at trade events, industry functions and related industry associations
•Maintain computer proficiency
