Our client is a cutting edge IT company that specializes in exceptional cross-channel marketing solutions. Across the board, companies are under extreme pressure to increase sales, reduce company costs and simplify processes. Our client becomes an extension of their customer's marketing team, can analyse their audience, come up with the go-to-market strategy and execute through various document solutions (including Digital and Direct Mail).
Due to rapid expansion in the Vancouver market, they are now looking to hire a Director of Sales to lead a team of 12, the majority who are outside sales focused. As a Director, this person will be driving the behaviour of the talent below them. In this role, they will also be making contact with Executives in key accounts and helping grow revenues, with full PNL accountability.
To be considered, you MUST be a great leader, with a proven track record that you can not only sell but develop marketing solutions and strategies. Your resume should tell a great story of overachieving and growth. You must demonstrate success selling complex ideas to B to C brands and regularly exceeding quotas.
You should also possess:
• BA degree
• Solid tenures in each role (limited job hopping or a story that makes sense and will be backed by references)
• Experience in Marketing
• Experience managing and growing a sales team
• Solution proposal development
• Likeable, empathetic and a great listener
• Hunger, drive and killer instinct
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Effective communication skills - both oral and written
• Team orientation
Compensation includes an attractive base salary and commission scheme - first year package approximately $150K.
