Our newest client is a major player in the Canadian trucking industry with strong marketshare and an excellent reputation. As they strive to increase their growth in Western Canada, they are looking for an excellent, experienced and well-trained business developer with the expertise to both hunt for new client opportunities in the transportation space, as well closely manage and grow your clients as you bring them on-board.
The ideal candidate will be a very self-directed and motivated new business developer who is eager to build an impressive portfolio of brand-name accounts. You must be well presented and have a strong, consultative sales style. This is a solution sale, so you must have strong business savvy and have sales training related to customer-centric selling.
To qualify, you must have at least 3 years of strong performance history consistently meetings and exceeding sales targets and outperforming peers. In your most recent roles, you would have aggressively hunted for new clients and – ideally – have sold a relatable business service. Experience in transportation is a “nice have” but not essential.
This role offers a strong salary and a realistic opportunity to achieve $100k in total income. You will also recieve a strong benefits plan and will have all travel related expenses covered.
