Our client is a rapidly growing online marketing business focused on servicing companies who wish to use online marketing techniques such as social media, search engine optimization (SEO), blogs and email marketing.

They are looking to hire a dedicated, positive & resilient 'hunter' / business development person to maximize sales opportunities and be part of their success story. An accomplished inside sales person, who has experience in selling online marketing services or advertising in a previous role/s is an ideal fit.

 Responsibilities

- Drive new sales through focused activity such as cold-calling, email marketing and consistent follow-up.

- Sell services to new accounts, as well as renew services to a solid existing client base.

- Develop new effective sales initiatives to enhance current strategies.

- Meet and exceed sales targets for the territory, which is North America, primarily Canada though.

 

- A resilient, highly motivated business development sales person comfortable cold-calling who has a demonstrable track record of success. Historical metrics & achievements should be on your resume e.g. largest sale, previous annual sales quota, prestigious clients

- Enthusiastic, confident & positive attitude and someone who understands the resilience that is needed in sales at times.

- Experience in selling online services & marketing, ideally 2 successful years.

- An understanding of social media, online marketing, SEO & email marketing.

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

- Technically adept generally (MS Office) but especially with CRM software such as Salesforce or Maximizer

On offer is a competitive base salary with an uncapped commission plan.
