||Acting with a sense of urgency the incumbent is responsible for the timely & thorough investigation of Disability benefit claims and small property losses. This includes identifying client eligibility and/or entitlement, and ensuring quick access to all available benefits in order to promote treatment and recovery, and to help the client return to optimal function.

•Mathematical aptitude in order to calculate benefits entitlements
||•Investigate accident benefits claims and property losses in accordance with quality assurance standards & processes, and regulatory compliance standards
•Gather, assemble, record and verify information and documentation from all available sources to ensure a thorough and complete compilation of facts required to resolve the claim
•Using established protocols, analyze and evaluate the facts of an individual case to assess the benefits available to the client.
•Arrange insurer examinations as needed
•Evaluate invoicing to ensure fee guidelines are being followed
•Other duties as required
|Education, knowledge and experience required
||•Post secondary education
•Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) Program in progress or be prepared to enroll in insurance institute courses to obtain CIP designation.
••Experience in adjusting auto physical damage an asset
•Must have BC Level 1 Adjuster’s License•
•Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
•Ability to learn new technical systems
