We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to deliver financial services, including financial analysis of complex projects, programs and pricing decisions for internal stakeholders, with financial analysis and risk management as a primary focus of this position. In this role, you will:
§ Prepare project justifications by liaising with internal departments to prepare revenue forecasts and cost estimates for new operating or capital programs; prepare NPV/IRR analysis for project teams, departments, and management; and compare historical and forecast financial performance of ongoing programs to original NPV/IRR analysis, the Authority’s cost of capital, and other performance indicators.
§ Maintain, update, and improve upon PMV’s various financial models and prepare ad-hoc reports using model databases to assist departments with property lease, project analysis and other financial decisions.
§ Provide analytical support for negotiating long-term loans, equipment and real estate leases, and other forms of long and short term financing.
§ Identify exposures to risk and the costs of repairing or replacing insurable assets. Identify vulnerability to business interruption. Classify and estimate financial consequences of potential losses.
§ Evaluate risk management techniques. Support departments in the drafting and negotiating of insurance terms for contracts and agreements. Coordinate the purchase of PMV’s liability and property insurance policies. Assist in negotiations with brokers and tenants to obtain the appropriate coverage.
§ Monitor, analyze and report on loss and claims information and assist with the resolution of claims.
As the ideal candidate, you have a Bachelor’s degree specializing in Finance or equivalent, along with at least three years of related experience in financial analysis and risk management, including dealing with corporate insurance, specifically negotiating claims and insurance terms. An accounting and Certified Risk Manager designation would be considered an asset. Your outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, your strong orientation to customer service and your commitment to continuous improvement set you apart from the rest. Advanced proficiency in office software applications, including MS Excel, round out your qualifications.
PMV offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including an Earned Time Off program.
