Position Overview The City of Port Moody is looking for a Utility Maintenance Supervisor who will oversee the maintenance, repairs and servicing of the utilities, water distribution and wastewater systems.
Responsibilities Responsibilities also include the supervision of Public Works staff through leadership, vision, organization and a commitment to Health and Safety.

Basic Qualifications
  • Completion Grade 12 education supplemented with technical and supervisory courses from a recognized institute of technology plus a minimum of four (4) years of job related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Water Distribution Operator Level III Certification
  • Wastewater Collection II Certification
  • Knowledge of backflow methods and devices
  • Strong communications, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to plan, assign, coordinate, supervise, review and participate in the work of crews
  • Sound judgment and decision making ability
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office
  • A valid Class 3 BC driver’s license with air endorsement is an asset
