| Position Overview |
The City of Port Moody is looking for an enthusiastic hard working individual to provide temporary full-time labour assistance to the Utilities crew. |
| Responsibilities |
This is routine manual work entailing considerable physical effort and agility in the performance of a variety of utility maintenance, construction of sewers and waterworks tasks. The Utilities Labourer will operate a variety of small equipment. |
| Requirements |

| Basic Qualifications |
- Grade 12 education plus a minimum of six months job-related experience or an equivalent combination
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
- Sufficient physical strength, stamina and coordination to perform heavy manual outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Ability to operate a variety of small equipment safely and efficiently
- Previous public works maintenance experience would be an asset
- Prior labour/maintenance/construction experience would also be an asset
