Job Title PeopleSoft HRMS Technical Administrator
Responsibilities Our client, a highly respected national distribution company, has engaged Prime Management Group Inc. in the search for PeopleSoft HRMS Technical Administrator for their London Ontario headquarters.
The PeopleSoft HRMS Technical Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the production and testing of the HR / Payroll / Benefits administration 9.1 PeopleSoft systems as well as the required subsystems. The successful candidate will perform administration activities including; installation, configuration, monitoring, application updates and development. The technical resource will lead, with assistance from database administrators, activates for database backup and recovery as well as perform disaster recovery. Primary application responsibilities will be for PeopleSoft systems in a Unix operating system in an IBM AIX environment. This position will interact with the Human Resources Department to provide front line support in addressing any performance issues and monitoring the overall health of the system. The successful candidate will bring an entrepreneurial mind-set; possess a professional demeanor, as well as a great attitude and an open mind. You exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions as well as possess great communication and analytical skills. Requirements Mandatory Requirements
•Experience in administration of a production HCM PeopleSoft 9.0 or 9.1 system
•Extensive knowledge in the PeopleSoft architecture on People Tools 8.5x using Tuxedo and Web Logic
•Well versed in applying updates and fixes as per the PeopleSoft regulatory payroll tax updates delivered by Oracle using Oracle Change Assistant
•Firm understanding of the PeopleSoft Application development tools and reporting languages (Application engine, SQR, PS Query, and Crystal Reports, XML Publisher)

Desirable Requirements
•Working understanding of PeopleSoft HR, Payroll, and Benefits Administration modules version 9 or higher
•Working understanding of Oracle 10g database running in an Unix environment on IBM AIX operating system
•Strong SQL skills including the ability to rewrite complex queries for performance improvements
•Experience in project management (including experience with project management software), systems analysis, design, development, testing (unit) and implementation
•Strong communication and negotiation skills
