Program Agenda We have a permanent full time employment opportunity in our Treasury Services department for an Accounts Payable Representative. This position reports to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable.
Key Duties & Responsibilities •Respond to high volume of phone and email inquiries on a daily basis providing efficient customer service to Team Members and Suppliers.
•Investigate variances or issues with suppliers and internal departments.
•Ensure timely & accurate payment of corporate invoices (including utility, contract payments, construction & IT purchases) T&E vouchers & cheque requisitions according to strict deadlines.
•Ensure all documentation is approved by authorized personnel in accordance with company policy.
•Process payment for account distribution using various Excel upload templates.
•Create manual payments for government remittances, inventory purchases and expenses paid via wire transfer.
•Process monthly rent payments & other various invoices including store expense and inventory (Direct Store Deliveries).
•Other Accounts Payable related duties as required.
Criteria for Application •Proficient keyboarding (required 50 WPM) and calculator skills.
•Ability to process a high volume of invoices accurately and meet weekly deadline.
•Excellent customer service, communication & interpersonal skills.
•Strong organizational & planning skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
• High level of integrity complimented with the ability to deal with extremely confidential information
•Previous Accounts Payable experience including PO matching in a retail environment.
•Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
