Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager, will play a key role in growing Mobilicity’s digital marketing strategy to enhance our online, mobile, and social media reach and presence in order to achieve our key business objectives and grow and retain our subscriber base. The successful candidate will have deep digital strategy expertise with a proven success record of executing digital, mobile and social media programs and initiatives. Working closely with the core marketing team including Marketing Communications, Corporate Affairs, Pricing and Promotions and Loyalty and Retention, the successful candidate will have the primary responsibility for taking our digital strategy to the next level through creativity, innovation and thought leadership.
What you will be responsible for:
Mobilicity.ca - Responsible for ongoing development of our website strategy, including content management and updates as well as rolling out new features and functionality to drive unique visits and conversions
Digital/Mobile Marketing Campaigns - Work closely with our media and creative agencies to develop key digital and mobile marketing campaigns and programs that are fully integrated with all offline campaign components and exceed our core digital marketing targets and KPI’s
SEO/SEM - Work closely with our key agency partners to support our SEO and SEM strategies to ensure we are optimizing our spend and maximizing our return (this includes ongoing testing of campaigns, keywords and placements)
Social Media - Develop and grow our key social media platforms with compelling programs and engaging content that resonates with our customers and adds value to their overall Mobilicity experience
Analytics and Reporting - Conduct and interpret all reporting and analytics for Mobilicity’s core digital activities including mobilicity.ca, search marketing and online and mobile advertising to optimize campaigns and leverage key insights for future campaign development • Create innovative approaches to digital and social media programs that reflect our core brand essence
Provide digital thought leadership on web, mobile and digital design industry trends, analytics and emerging platforms to maximize Mobilicity’s digital strategy
Work closely with brand and acquisition team members to ensure seamless integration of all digital marketing activities into the broader customer marketing plan
What you’ll bring to the table:
5-7 years relevant work experience with a strong background in digital marketing at an interactive agency or at a leading CPG, telecommunications or high-tech company.Experience with subscription-based businesses a plus.
University or post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing and/or related discipline
Knowledge of web design and best practices for consumer facing websites including knowledge of HTML and Django
Strong knowledge of paid and organic search engine optimization, search engine marketing and trend analysis
Proven leadership in the digital space and the desire and willingness to think creatively and bring original and innovative thinking to Mobilicity’s digital marketing strategy
Strong analytical skills to ensure measurement and a test and learn approach is embedded in all digital programs
Expertise with key online analytics tools including Google analytic
Experience managing third party vendors and agencies
Passionate with an entrepreneurial spirit
Project management expertise with an ability to drive projects forward and manage cross functional teams
Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including experience with senior management communications
