Position Overview / Vue d’ensemble du poste Reporting to the IS Business Management Lead, the IS Personnel Resource Administrator will provide direct professional administration services our client’s Information Services department. Duties will include collecting, maintaining, and reporting the departmental individual training requests, and keeping the Senior Management apprised of the up to date status of the training budget. You'll also be required to organize meetings with Facilities to coordinate departmental future workspace requirements. This position will also be reconciling payment issues with external contractor invoices. The incumbent should be a professional and personable individual who demonstrates strong business judgment in all aspects of communication, superior organization skills and enjoys working in a very busy environment with changing priorities.

This is a 12 month contract.

Certifications -

• High-school diploma
• Secretarial diploma (asset)

Experience – Role-specific

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ of Administration experience
• Minimum 1 to 3 years’ of corporate finance experience (asset)
• Knowledge of standard Corporate Policies and Procedures

Experience – Industry Specific

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with IS in an oil and gas domain (asset)

Abilities – Hard Skills

• Superior knowledge of complete Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Working knowledge of SAP (Corporate ERP application) (asset)

Abilities – Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and strong analytical ability required
• Superior organization skills, with the ability to set priorities, follow-up and meet deadlines
• Proven ability to work in a team environment and the ability to communicate with all levels of the company and external contacts
• Excellent proof reading and business writing skills
• Displaying tact and good judgment in resolving problems and answering inquiries.
• Ability to work independently in a very busy, varied and diverse environment with changing priorities
• Demonstrated capability to liaise and negotiate with internal clients and requestors
• A high degree of initiative and self-motivation
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting strict deadlines
