Position Overview / Vue d’ensemble du poste The successful candidate will support multiple projects for North American integrated upstream Oil and Gas companies. Projects will focus on field control system evaluations and implementations. The successful project coordinator will report to senior project managers. There will also be another experienced project coordinator who will provide additional peer support. Excellent opportunity to develop/enhance coordination skills or move along your project management career path.
Responsibilities / Responsabilités • As a fully qualified project coordinator you will be expected to support multiple projects from start to finish while actively managing the logistics to ensure the Project Managers have time to focus on scope, schedule, budget and stakeholder expectations
• Experience working with the processes, applications and personnel associated with upstream or midstream energy companies. This may include but is not limited to field operations, engineering, IT and production accounting
• Experience working on automation, application, and infrastructure projects
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong written and communications skills
• Excellent working knowledge of MS office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Knowledge of the Project Lifecycle and project methodologies
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Some knowledge of field automation systems and plant environments is an asset
• Working knowledge of MS Project
• Some knowledge of Visio is an asset
• Some knowledge of LiveLink, Engineering drawings, Financial systems is an asset
• Strict requirements for confidentiality
• Ability to interact with clients in field and office locations from different disciplines
• Ability to interact with external contractors, vendors, suppliers as required
Requirements / Exigences • Working in a team environment with a program manager, project manager, technical analysts, technical and business leads you will support multiple projects to completion for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
o Manage and organize project artifacts and templates
o Schedule team meetings, workshops, events
 Assist in the setup and facilitation of the meetings (i.e. write on flip charts, help coordinate break out groups etc.)
 Attend and scribe for meetings and workshops
o Maintain action registries, meeting minutes, and project notes
o Provide team onboarding to new team members
o Order and manage project team stationary
o Compile program status reports and metrics for the Project Managers
o Draft team communications including announcements, PowerPoint presentations
o Maintain project LiveLink folders
o Setup and maintain project hard copy files if required
o Collect and input tasks and updates into the project plan (MS Project)
o Run and compare labour tracking and financial reports for the projects
o Liaise with other teams as necessary (i.e. facilities, security etc.) to support project team members
o Support project manager for SCM (Supply Change Management) activities including RFP, BOM, PO, SOW

• As the project coordinator you need to ensure that you work closely with the project manager to ensure efficient project execution
• Program Manager escalation along with a direct interface with the Project manager will provide on-site mentoring and support to ensure the successful start, continuation, and completion of projects
• Align to client's program and program methodology
