||This financial services organization based in downtown Vancouver needs to add the above resource to their infrastructure team. This position may start as a 6 month contract leading to a permanent position. They require an individual with a strong networking background and recent hands on experience with voice systems.
|Responsibilities / Responsabilités
||This position’s primary purpose is to support voice/data network infrastructure, including PBX/IP PBX, Voicemail systems, Interactive voice response (IVR), automatic call distributor (ACD), Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), Voice Recording, and Workforce Management. This includes the technical and analytical work in designing, installing, supporting and maintaining voice, local/wide area networks including Integrated Services Routers (ISR), Adaptive Security Appliances (ASA), Firewall, and Core/Access/Virtual Switch for two major offices and data centres. The work will also involve Tier 1/Tier 2 support for voice system for business users including user accounts, access privileges, CTI desktop applications, voice servers and telephony appliances using incident/work request management systems and the coordination of Tier 3 support with vendors and other IT support teams. You will also manage and lead voice projects including preparing business case, choosing technology, selecting vendors and testing and deploying to production.
|Requirements / Exigences
||* Minimum of 4 years experience supporting networks and voice systems
* Exposure to Cisco technologies such as Cisco USC Server, Unified Contract Centre Express , Unified Communication Manager and Instant Messaging
* Hands on experience with voice systems such as Avaya or Nortel
* Certifications Cisco CCNA or CCNA Voice or ITIL are nice to have
