Start Date: January 1, 2013 End Date: December 31, 2013 (with the possibility, at the option of the client, of extension of up to one year, under the same terms and conditions, including pricing) Our Edmonton client is seeking a part-time Senior Storage Analyst, on a time and materials basis, to assist in their projects. Project Description The successful resource will assist in their projects in the following manner: - Provide technical expertise with EMC NetWorker 7.6.4.1 and 8.x.
- Provide technical expertise with EMC DataDomain appliances
- Provide technical expertise with EMC VNX disk arrays
Technical expertise shall include: - Performance tuning
- Operational troubleshooting
- Capacity planning
- General advice and technical assistance to develop a cost-effective and robust infrastructure
Mandatory Requirements - Demonstrated experience with EMC NetWorker (2 years)
- Demonstrated experience in EMC DataDomain (1 year)
- Demonstrated experience in EMC VNX disk arrays (2 years)
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting storage products (4 years)
Desirable Attributes - General IT industry experience (10 years)
