The candidate will work in a fast paced environment integrating third party software systems (CS Explorer) with other systems (Data Marts, Land and Well Management systems, etc). Knowledge of land and well data is an asset.
Designing, implementing and unit testing in C# using .NET 3.5 and newer
Elaborating functional and architectural specifications
Working in conjunction with software testers to fix bugs
This is a 12 month contract. |
| Requirements / Exigences |
• C# using Visual Studio 2008
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and VBA
• Strong working knowledge of PL/SQL
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in C# programming and Microsoft .NET
• Experience with Web Services
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle
• Experience with PL/SQL
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2008
• Experience with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
• Good application performance and run time behavior understanding of the .Net framework
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, a go-to person for activities within cross-
divisional and cross-functional teams
Nice to have:
• Oil & Gas Experience - Surface Land, Mineral Land & Joint Venture
• CS Explorer experience
• Peloton Suite (WellView, SiteView & RigView) experience
• Database optimization
• Oracle 9 to 11g migration
