Position Overview / Vue d’ensemble du poste This position will provide user support functions within the Information Systems Department. These functions will include computer hardware and software support, general user support requests via the help desk, after hours call out and new hardware or software implementation projects.

This is a 6 month contract with a strong chance of it being made into a full-time position.
Responsibilities / Responsabilités
  • Set-up of computers for new employees/contractors
  • Moving, lifting and set-up of computers during office moves
  • User orientation
  • User hardware and software support
Requirements / Exigences
  • Experience setting-up computer hardware and software
  • Proven ability to provide computer and printer support
  • Proficient with Dell and hardware
  • Ability to respond to internal client computer assistance requirements
  • Willing to jump in and help anyway they can to get the job done
  • Lotus Notes experience would be an asset
 
Education and Experience
  • Diploma in Computer Information Technology
  • 2+ Years in overall IT experience
  • Experience with Windows XP or higher.
  • Microsoft Office
  • Good team player
