Position Overview Our Client is undertaking a project to implement a new HRMS system which will: replace PeopleSoft and standardize HR processes. The implementation of a new system will help to support the vision and strategy for HR.

Phase 1 of the project includes the following scope:
- Configuration and deployment of the HRMS to replace the global PeopleSoft footprint for:
o Core HR (employee and contractor) data and processes
o Compensation management
o Organization Charts
- The following functionality will be delivered for North America only as part of this first phase:
o Benefits administration
o Time tracking and absence management
o Mobile devices
o Employee self service
o Manager self service
o Onboarding & Offboarding processes (simple processes)
- HR process redesign and standardization guided by best practices from the system
- Communication to and engagement of all impacted users
- Appropriate level of training to all impacted users
- Integration to other HR service providers

This contract is until March 2014
Responsibilities The Business Analyst will report to the Business Lead and will support the business team SMEs in the development of key HR business process based on the HRMS system. The Business Analyst will:
- Work closely with the business team and HRMS implementation partner to redefine HR and people processes through business process workshops
- Research, analyze and summarize changes from current state process and share with Change Management team
- Document key requirements driven by new processes
- Work with other stakeholders to adjust existing processes
- Assist with development and execution of testing scripts
- Support business leads with transition from current to future processes
- Assist with data clean-up activities as required
Requirements - 7 years direct experience in HR; proficient knowledge of business standards and human resource processes
- Experience in HR process development/redesign
- Experience in HR systems implementation
- Expert consultative skills including ability to anticipate, analyze and advise on issues
- Process analysis and problem solving skills (ideally LEAN process training)
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and written communication, facilitation, and negotiation
- Strong organizational and analytical skills including systems thinking, problem solving and decision-making
- Energetic and results oriented
