| Position Overview |
Our client is a Freight Forwarding company offering Ground, Air, Ocean, and Warehousing services for the Canadian, USA, and International marketplace. This position is at the Main Office located in Cambridge Ontario. |
| Responsibilities |
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers to meet with the customer's requirements.
• Negotiate rates for service.
• Responsible for qualifying carriers, growing revenue, load tracking, obtaining rate agreements and approving spot requests.
• Communicate with customers to provide solutions to their problems.
• Additional responsibilities include tracking shipments, soliciting truck load, coordinating pickup and delivery schedule, resolving discrepancies.

• Solid negotiating skills. • Able to build and maintain strong relationship with the clients. • Excellent organizational skills. • Strong attitude to work as a team player. • Imperative ability to multi-task and prioritize work • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to track truckload freight. • Developed successful pricing strategies that help to attract and retain customers. • Maintained open communication lines with other divisions. • Providing high standard customer service • Build and maintain relationships with carrier. • Dispatching drivers, including loading procedures and requirements. • Customs experience considered an asset • Proficient with Access, Load Logistic, MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel |
