·         Attends to day-to-day operations at assigned community resource centre with emphasis on the coordination of office procedures and identified administrative duties.

·         Provides positive customer service and oversees facility rentals and administrative support to neighbourhood associations, community partners, and centre users.

·         In conjunction with the Resource Centre Coordinator, anticipates and forecasts ongoing facility usage.

·         This position, although supportive and clerical in scope has an equally important role to nurture community through vision and sensitivity to a varied population. 4.     Must possess a high school diploma plus up to one year of related post-secondary courses

5.     Must have a minimum of one year of related experience

6.     Must be able to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends, late nights and holidays,depending on the needs of the centre

7.     Must be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and a proven ability to work independently

8.     Must have demonstrated experience and ability to work closely with volunteers, youth, neighbourhood association, partners, and the public in a diverse community setting

9.     Must have demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication (written and oral), customer service, and behaviour management skills

10.   Must have demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills

11.   Must have experience in administrative coordination and the ability to work effectively in and foster a team environment while applying a strong analytical approach to a variety of situations

12.   Must have accurate and efficient keyboard skills

13.   Must have demonstrated proficiency in the use of personal computers using Microsoft office applications

14.   Must have demonstrated skills and experience in handling cash, processing payments, reconciliations and bank deposits

15.   Must be able to work in an open-concept environment

16.   Must have current Standard First Aid certification CPR-C and AED certification, or be willing to obtain

17.   Must be prepared to produce a satisfactory police records check at your own cost, as a condition of employment

18.   Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of facility maintenance

19.   Further preference will be given to those that possess a valid MTO Class G2 driver’s license in good standing and access to a vehicle
