The Branch Manager is a key person to build a branch office in support of our aggressive, 30 year business plan. To have a significant impact on growth, the Branch Manager will lead, manage and mentor a team of technical professionals to service a geographic region and network of clients. This position is responsible for driving branch profitability, meeting established business targets and strategic initiatives set out in the Branch and Corporate Business Plans.
The individual in this role will be comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment with expectations to take the initiative to affect the workplace and leverage the branch strategy to stabilize resource requirements. Success will require the Branch Manager to support, mentor and assist employees with their career growth by providing and delivering strong leadership for the branch. They will direct local technical operations and positively represent JMP internally and externally by being committed to JMP’s Vision, Values and processes. Collaboration with Business Development in seeking opportunities and strategic alliances is critical for maximizing impact.
Provide direction to project teams within branch
Monitor compliance with agreed deliverables
Ensure the quality of work is consistent and complies with standards
Manage branch production and operations
Manage existing clients and coordinate new client sales activities in collaboration with Business Development Managers and Regional Managers to achieve targets
Represent the branch in the community for promotion and business development activities
Develop, mentor and coach employees
Identify training needs and ensure team is poised for excellence in execution
Identify recruiting opportunities and provide support for recruiting activities
Manage Performance Management initiatives for direct reports
$X revenue represented by a healthy mix of labour and hardware revenues
Minimum 10% profit
20% organic growth
High market impact as determined by your electronic reputation (on-line forums e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook) and community presence
Employee feedback that meets or exceeds the mean score
High quality of technical deliverables as determined through NPS
Strong distributor and partner relationships measured by referral revenue
Strong project management competencies
Maintaining Project Manager certifications for entire team
Execution of Business Plan quarterly and yearly priorities
Achieve high level of customer satisfaction exceeding an 80% Net Promoter Score
