||Director, Print & Broadcast

||The Director of Print and Broadcast is responsible for overseeing a department of media planning and operations whom develop, execute, monitor and optimize media plans and analytics for clients. This position draws from strong print and broadcast media expertise and takes lead in department strategy and new business opportunities. Establishes and builds upon strong working relationships with sr. client and agency contacts. The Director of Print and Broadcast Media is a managerial role, managing a team of AMDs, Supervisors, Planners and traffickers, and reports to the VP of Print and Broadcast Media.
|Description of Duties
o Responsible for oversight of all print and broadcast staffing and resource requirements.
o Has substantial role in management of department resources across accounts and from an overall revenue management perspective.
o Assume leadership role in key departmental initiatives.
o Promote print and broadcast media department capabilities across the organization
o Develop people within the team by coaching, identifying areas for growth, managing performance, processes, open communication with your team, and identifying training opportunities
o Hire, teach, grow, motivate and maintain a team of print and broadcast media staffers
Strategic Thought Leader
o Leads and manages multiple work streams of client business, serving as the primary and high level contact to articulate the inVentiv Media print and broadcast media strategy and business philosophies
o Responsible for comprehensive management of assigned accounts. Typically, this includes the management of media strategy, media planning, media negotiations and implementation,
performance tracking and analysis and various associated projects
o Draws insight from program results and ensure dialogue with client and internal team on informed strategic implications
o Assume substantial role on the core client team(s) to identify issues, develop new business
opportunities with existing clients and assist in development of new client relationships
o Inspire clients with print and broadcast media knowledge and ideas and become their trusted advisor
o 7+ years experience in print and broadcast and media strategy
o 5+ years of management experience in agency or marketing environment
o Experience building and scaling media organizations
o Strong media planning and project management experience with large accounts
o Healthcare industry experience a plus
