Position Title Account Supervisor
Position Category Account Services/Marketing
Description of Duties
(Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following)
  • Brand Expert
    • Understands the brand position with regard to disease state, customers, treatment and communications channels
    • Understands brand barriers, strategic vision, and implementation in collaboration with account leadership (VP, Strategy and Creative Lead)
    • Assists in identifying brand barriers, positioning, and strategies
  • Client Counselor
    • Listens for client challenges, establishes context and leverages Brand Driving and/or Work Driving resources to resolve
    • Sets clear team priorities; communicates brand objectives and strategies; anticipates and adjusts for problems and roadblocks; defines success in terms of the whole team
    • Actively participates in strategic and creative client presentations, presenting and defending Company's point of view
    • Challenges strategies and directions not aligned with the brand positioning
    • Gathers and contributes appropriate insights, facts, and data to foster the planning and creative processes for the client and Ignite team
    • Attends all appropriate client meetings, market research, conventions; and documents all key learning
  • Leads brand and project Scope development and execution
    • Utilizes Ignite resources to develop annual communication plan and implements effectively and efficiently
    • Leads estimating, revenue reporting and productivity compliance; assists in preparing regular forecasts and retainer reconciliation 
    • Manages client demands vs agreed budget
    • Establishes schedules for internal and external stakeholders
  • Team Leader
    • Ensures effective communication among departments and with all client contacts in order to resolve conflict, celebrate success, and achieve strong team and client relationships
    • Ensures Ignite processes and documentation completion; keeps management apprised of critical client concerns and opportunities
  • Client and Ignite Team Development
    • Provides training support to new client managers who are acclimating to the brand, technology and/or Ignite
    • Provides management direction and developmental support to direct reports in preparation for future positions; provides challenging and stretching assignments; pushes tasks down to empower others; shares ownership and visibility
    • Facilitates Ignite performance evaluation and talent management; holds frequent development discussions, and addresses areas requiring improvement
    • Stays current with industry news and competitive environment to continually expand knowledge
Minimum Requirements
  • BS/BA required
  • 4+ years agency experience required
  • Deep understanding of digital, social media and other interactive offerings on a variety of platforms
  • Healthcare/pharmaceutical understanding is a plus

  • Technology: a strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Internet and new media industries; especially a background knowledge of Web front-end (site usability and look & feel) and back-end (programming and hosting) practices The aptitude to conceptually understand new technologies and programming languages as introduced
